Civil3D Classic Course
Step by Step & Basic to Intermediate
Whether you are a beginner or not, this course will help you learn solid and professional skills in utilizing real-world methods in Civil3D environment. Moreover, it provides valuable tips and tricks practiced in civil and infrastructure projects internationally for over a decade by the creator!
The final results of the course are shown in the product cover by completing five modules as follows:
Chapter 1 (~13 minutes, 2 video lessons)
This chapter is an introduction to Civil3D environment and the project overview. Throughout this chapter, you will learn about the features which assist you with control and management of the project such as ribbons, tabs, toolbars, selection, pan, orbit, viewports, layers, coordinates system, etc.
Chapter 2 (~2 hours, 8 video lessons)
In this chapter you will learn about common 2D & 3D CAD tools used for 3D modeling of solids and based on that, we are going to model the components of an arch bridge.
Chapter 3 (~7.5 hours, 37 video lessons)
You are going to learn how to prepare the existing ground in two different ways (points and contours) as the first step and at the seconds step, you will learn how to create advance gradings on top of the generated ground surface.
Chapter 4 (~4 hours, 24 video lessons)
As the final chapter, you are going to learn about creating a basic linear alignment and longitudinal profile, custom sub-assemblies with subassembly composer, creating and modifying a compound corridor in addition to some basic visual analysis, lighting and more!
Chapter 5 (~2.5 hours, updated in 2025)
This update includes rebuilding the road section with Civil3D default subassemblies and covering features such as sample lines, section views, quantity takeoff, material lists, volume reports and more!
Small future updates might be added to this version As well if necessary!

Additionally, you will be able to download 9 zipped folders with total size of 42.5 GB which include video lessons, source files (project files and input data)!
The project was created in Civil3D 2024 and works with newer versions too. Also, It was designed, debugged, troubleshooted and rebuilt twice with an MSI laptop (GE75 Raider 2020) with specs such as RAM: 16GB, CPU: intel i9 10980HK, GPU Nvidia RTX 2070 Super with no technical issues!
